Plant Growth Regulators (PGRs) are natural or synthetic compounds that influence how plants grow by mimicking or altering the action of plant hormones (like auxins, gibberellins, cytokinins, etc.). They’re different from fertilizers: PGRs don’t primarily provide nutrients but regulate growth processes.

When PGR products are formulated as granules, the active growth-regulating ingredients (or plant biostimulants like amino acids, humic acid, seaweed extracts, etc.) are bound into small solid particles that can be spread over soil. Granular form is useful for soil application — the granules slowly dissolve or break down.
