Ferrous (Fe) EDDHA - 6% is a high-quality iron chelate designed for soil or foliar application to prevent and correct iron chlorosis (yellowing of leaves), particularly in alkaline and calcareous (lime-rich) soils. It contains 6% iron (Fe) in a highly stable EDDHA chelated form and 1% sulfur (S), ensuring effective iron availability to plants even under high pH conditions. This product quickly recovers yellowing caused by iron deficiency and is suitable for a wide variety of plants, including turf, flowers, vegetables, trees, shrubs, and ornamentals. It is compatible with drip irrigation, foliar spray, and direct soil application. Application
  • Soil Application of Fe EDDHA 6%:
  • Dose : 250-500 g per acre (open field crops)

  • Mode of Application : Spray near the root zone and water immediately after application
  • Fertigation :
  • Dosage : 250-500 g per acre through drip irrigation
  • Apply Fe EDDHA 6% at early vegetative and repeat as necessary according to symptoms of deficiency
  • Spray Application (if EDDHA foliar acting) :
  • Not usually suggested, have been known to stain. opt for soil/fertigation-based methods for optimum result.
Time
  • Apply Fe EDDHA 6% during early vegetative stage or immediately when iron deficiency symptoms appear (yellowing of young leaves with green veins).
  • Reapply as necessary during the flowering and fruiting stages for continuous support.
Precaution
  • Do not mix Fe EDDHA 6% with acidic fertilizers or pesticides without prior compatibility testing.
  • Avoid foliar spray on flowers or fruits due to potential staining.
  • Store Fe EDDHA 6% in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight and moisture.
